Is it up to Bane? Tom Hardy enters martial arts tournament

Sometimes many of the actors of Hollywood take martial arts classes to understand their characters, but as soon as the filming ends they forget everything to go to the next role. However, this would not have happened to the actor of Bane in Batman: The Knight of the Night ascends , Tom Hardy , who currently participated in a tournament.

As reported by The Guardian, Harder was a surprise competitor in the Brazilian Open Jiujitsu 2022 in Milton Keynes, England . The actor entered the competition with his real name, Edward Hardy **, and won the golden prize.

This is what a medium spokesman commented:

Everyone recognized him, but he was very humble and was happy to take some time for people to take pictures with him. It was a real pleasure to have it competing in our event.

Hardy faced the veteran of martial arts Danny Appleby in the tournament semifinal. Appleby called Hardy as a very pleasant guy. Here what he commented:

He is a really strong guy… you wouldn’t think about being a celebrity. I have made about six tournaments and I have been on the podium on all. But he is probably the hardest competitor I have had; He certainly was up to his Bane character, that’s safe.

If you want to see him playing the villain, remember that the film is available in HBO Max .
